Sundays at 11:15am Julie West will be leading a new study on Sundays at 11:15am in the Adult Sunday School Room (Education Wing, far east corner). Her study will include the movie “Pilgrim’s Progress” and then work through “Making Sense of the Bible” over a five week period. Begins today, July 30th – head to her classroom after worship if you would like to be a part of this study!
Tuesdays at 6:30pm Pastor Jim leads a Tuesday night Bible Study during the school year. Topics, books, and studies vary. This class meets at 6:30pm on Tuesday nights via Zoom; join us from wherever you are! If you’d like to join this group and are not already on the distribution list, contact the church office during Monday office hours and we will add you to the email list for our Zoom studies! This class will resume Tuesday, September 5th, at 6:30pm.
Wednesdays at 7 PM Pastor Kenya will be leading the “Fall in Love With God’s Word: Practical Strategies for Busy Women” study on Wednesday nights at 7pm in the PUMC Library (off of the Circle Room). This study will begin on August 30th, break on September 27th, and continue through October 25th, meeting for a total of 8 Wednesdays. Books are on order and will be available from the church office prior to the study for a cost of $15 each. Bringing along a notebook or journal is recommended. Sign up in the Church Office.
Fridays at 10am Dalene Kelly will be leading the Adam Hamilton study “Christianity’s Family Tree” on Fridays at 10am. This is an eight-week study that will tour various branches of Christianity. Held in the Chapel. Begins Friday, August 11th.
Periodically, church-wide studies with additional small groups will also be offered. Most recently, the church offered small group studies of Max Lucado’s “Anxious for Nothing”. We’ve also enjoyed Adam Hamilton’s “The Lord’s Prayer” as a congregation. To find out about upcoming studies, contact the church office to be added to our bi-weekly email list, or join us in worship for these announcements.
