Chewy Marshall was born in August 2018 and is a proud member of organist Jerry Marshall’s family. Chewy is one of the church’s most dedicated volunteers, lending emotional support as Jerry volunteers his Friday mornings as the voice answering the PUMC phone. Upon arrival, Chewy quickly became known as the church mascot and sits with Jerry through long hours of music studies and organ practices.
While Chewy tends to yip at some friendly staff members, even when they offer delicious dog treats, he has a deep love for Pastor Jim and loves to sniff out the special goodies Pastor Jim has tucked away in his office too. Chewy even has his own church nametag. It may seem to some that Chewy has everyone wrapped around his tiny paws… and that’s probably true!
